How quickly can Wombat take over management of my property from another agent?

Once our management agreement is signed, we’ll reach out to your current property manager and start the transfer process. If they’re on board, we can often have your investment safely tucked into our burrow in just a few days.

That said, Queensland law and most management agreements require a 30-day notice period. This ensures a smooth handover, keeps your tenants happy, and gives everyone time to get things in order. We handle all the details, so your property is well cared for from the moment it joins the Wombat burrow.

What suburbs does Wombat Real Estate service?

From our Bowen Hills HQ, we look after properties across Brisbane, basically anywhere from Logan to Newport and everywhere in between. Our core service area is within 25 km of the office, but we’ve had great success further afield too.

Some of the suburbs we frequently manage properties in include Arana Hills, Fortitude Valley, Bowen Hills, South Brisbane, West End, Brisbane City, Ashgrove, Stafford, Stafford Heights, Everton Park, Clontarf, Mango Hill, Camp Hill, and Coorparoo.

If your suburb isn’t listed, don’t worry, there’s a good chance we already manage a property there, and we’d love to look after yours too.

Yes. At Wombat Real Estate, we always manage properties with the end in mind. Every action we take follows a clear process and is fully documented to ensure your investment is protected.

We ensure full compliance with Queensland rental laws and proactively manage any issues to prevent disputes. If tribunal action at QCAT is required, we represent you professionally and efficiently, with all the preparation, evidence, and documentation in place to support your case.

How many properties do you manage?

As a boutique property management agency, we deliberately keep our portfolio small, with around 75 properties per property manager. This allows us to provide hands-on, proactive management and exceptional support for every investment burrow.

For context, a typical property manager in Brisbane often looks after 150 to 250 properties, which can make it difficult to provide the same level of personalised service and attention to detail. At Wombat Real Estate, your property never gets lost in the crowd.
